Description
A winged figure kneels beneath a skylight in a bare concrete chamber. The quiet black-and-white scene adds depth to hallways, bedrooms and offices.
Soft daylight falls through a square opening in the ceiling into a windowless room of raw concrete. At its centre a bare female figure kneels on a low wooden block, her back to the viewer, head bowed, two luminous feathered wings folded around her. Deep greys, streaked walls and a single feather on the floor hold the scene in still, melancholic monochrome.
Above a sofa, in a bedroom reading corner or along a stairwell, the image comes into its own. It suits interiors built on concrete, dark wood and muted tones, lending a room depth, calm and a thoughtful, contemplative mood.
A quiet motif that deepens a room and holds the eye.
